"If you can breathe, you can dance"

About Me

I am a dance artist privileged to be working on the unceded Coast Salish territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations.

Since 2011, when I graduated as a Dance Educator and specialized in Community Engagement, I have been working toward building communities of movers and thinkers.

I continue to perform, create, and spread my love for movement as an independent dance artist.

I hold a BA and an MA in Philosophy (University of Bologna, Italy), an MA in Comparative Media Arts (Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada).

I am currently a PhD student in Arts Education at Simon Fraser University. My research interests include dance, disability, phenomenology, Arts-Based Research and Dance Education. My academic work has been published in Italian and Canadian journals.
